In the Getting Started with Lenormand post I provided a list of simple associations which included:
Dog, 10 of Hearts, Loyal, Friend, Sincerity, Adoration, Devotion, a Dog.
Dog the card is in many ways what we think of as a Dog in life. Not to mention that it can also symbolise a dog, either in the Physical or Spiritual.
As we think of the Behaviour of a Dog. We know their nature is one of Sincerity, how a Dog feels is always known and expressed. Dog’s also openly display their Adoration of their humans and are Devoted companions.
A Dog is a Loyal Friend to its human. When we see the Dog in relation to a Signifier, it lends these beneficent qualities to the person.
As always remember that Context is Key, and allow the space to consider what is being expressed broadly as well as narrowly.
