In the Getting Started with Lenormand post I provided a list of simple associations which included:
Garden, 8 of Spades, Public events, Gatherings, People, Outdoors, Garden, Refined
Garden is a relatively straightforward card. On one hand, it can mean a literal Garden, botanical gardens etc.
But it can also refer to a Garden party, a soiree, or even a Convention. It refers to Social Gathering and Public events.
However, there is a certain refinement that can be seen in the Garden much like an English Tea Party.
The Garden refers to the cultivated outdoors, lawns, parks and the like rather than the Wilderness.
When the Garden refers to People expect large gatherings. In relation to the Spirits that surround the Querant, it indicates a large ‘Court’ of Spirits.
Garden shows us the worth of social connections.
As always remember that Context is Key, and allow the space to consider what is being expressed broadly as well as narrowly.
