In the Getting Started with Lenormand post I provided a list of simple associations which included:
Book, 10 of Diamonds, (Directional: Bound side – Secrets, Open – Knowledge), Project, Lessons, Hidden, Occult knowledge.
Book largely refers to knowledge and planning. So we see Projects, Lessons and Occult knowledge. (Occult being both hidden and referring to ‘mystical’)
The Book can also simply refer to Hidden. Depending on placement it can show us what we are not seeing.
Directionally the Bound side of the book can indicate what is hidden, where are the pages show us what is being revealed.
It can also refer to a person who is Bookish or is a writer in whatever form.
We keep things bound in Books. Things that are not ready to be shared, will never be shared or are simply germinating.
As always remember that Context is Key, and allow the space to consider what is being expressed broadly as well as narrowly.
