In the Getting Started with Lenormand post I provided a list of simple associations which included:
Moon, 8 of Hearts, Recognition, Honour, Career, Impression, Fame, Purpose, Intuition, Mysteries
Moon much like Lillies represents Honour. However, this is the Honour of Self. Listening to your ‘inner-self, rather than adhering to social expectations.
Moon also represents Recognition, Fame, Purpose and Career. This is the World and Society recognising you actualising your Potential and Desires. It is the attainment and embodiment of souls-purpose.
Impressions and Perceptions are also indicated by the Moon. As it is the Luminous light that shines through our soul. It is also the Reflecting surface that other view themselves.
Mysteries are also indicated by the Moon. That which is only illuminated in the night by her soft yet piercing light. It also indicates Intuition and Psychic sensitivity or the messages that we are missing in the day.
As always remember that Context is Key, and allow the space to consider what is being expressed broadly as well as narrowly.
